School districts are required to consider the need for Extended School Year services for every student with a disability. In accordance with Special Education Law and Regulations, the IEP team must determine the services, location, frequency and duration, including the starting and ending date, for ESY services. These ESY components must be individualized to meet specific student’s needs.
